Brenda Barnard is an international trade consultant with over forty years of experience in sanctions, trade regulations, customs, and supply chain security. Her expertise spans various industries, including nuclear energy, aerospace, defense, and security sectors, as well as frequency and timing technologies, semiconductors, and additive manufacturing processes.   

By tailoring her methodologies to meet client needs, she delivered thorough analyses and solutions. She provided expert advice to assist them in achieving their objectives while offering insights into the broader implications of human rights, public safety, and economic integrity. She led Section 201, 232, and 301 Trade Remedy working groups and developed internal policies and procedures to maximize business opportunities and minimize trade-related risks.  

Brenda is a Licensed Customs Broker, a Certified U.S. Export Compliance Officer® (CUSECO), and a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS). She has also served as an Internal ISO Auditor for several global corporations and as the Corporate Security Coordinator - Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at a leading international logistics service provider.  

Barnard is an esteemed member of various prominent professional associations, which encompass Business Intelligence for Trade Enforcement (BITE), Export Controls & Sanctions Advisors (ECSA), International Sanctions and Export Control Society (ISECS), International Compliance Professionals Association (ICPA), International Trade Certification®, and the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA).
