John T. (Johnny) Robertson serves as Export Control Sanctions Advisors LLC’s General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer and is a member of the Executive Committee. 

Robertson’s thirty-six-year law practice leverages significant law firm and in-house counsel corporate and nonprofit regulatory compliance experience within a wide variety of industries. His concentrated areas of experience include multi-state litigation, labor, employment, corporate, commercial, civil rights, and copyright and trademark litigation in both the boutique law firm and in-house environments.  Prior to joining ECSA, Robertson held in-house counsel positions with a number of start-up companies in the communications, multi-media, entertainment, and software / digital industries.

Robertson also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Mark E. Polen (Retired Florida Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge). His academic teaching experience includes numerous adjunct professor teaching positions (Business Law) and as moderator/lecturer/guest speaker at University of Pennsylvania, Villanova, Rutgers, and Temple Schools of Law
